The Big Why

Today I’m going to talk about motivation. I’m sharing with you the Big Why, and some tips for uncovering yours!

I’m Mel and I am a life coach who helps women find their wild side and get comfortable with intimacy. Becoming a business owner isn’t one of life’s “normal paths,” but here’s why it is so important to me.

I started a life coaching practice because it pains me when I see women who don’t believe in themselves. It pains me to hear that women say that they might as well be invisible. It pains me to hear women say that they hate the way they look. It pains me to hear women say that they never get what they want or need and that they are just tired of trying.

Knowing that I can help solve this problem is what motivates me to keep going, even when it’s hard to run a business. Being able to hear and see you lovely ladies smile because you accomplished something for yourself is what keeps me going.

So here’s a couple of tips for discovering your motivation!

  • Figure out what it is that no matter what, can make you smile. Like that warmth from deep inside kind of smile. Do that thing once a day, even if it’s just for 5 min.

  • Figure out what it is that you just never seem to get tired of (a habit or a hobby, maybe make that thing a new hobby) and do that thing at least 3 times a week.

  • Maybe try some meditation to see what wonderful ideas pop into your head. Or at least use meditation to clear out some of that mental garbage/baggage that you’ve been holding on too.
