Self Care


When was the last time that you took some time just to take care of yourself? When was the last time that you did something that made YOU happy?

It seems like in today's world, we are always doing things out of expectations or because we think that's what we're supposed to be doing. We have to work work work work work to bring home money. We have to go to this party, to that party, show up here, show up there because we are expected to be there.

How exhausted do you feel after all of that? You come home, pants go flying across the room and you just fall into bed and pass out.

Take some time to do something for yourself. Maybe it's exercise, maybe it's playing a game, maybe it's watching your favorite TV show. Do something that makes you feel better; something that makes you smile. Make it something that takes your mind away from the stress of everyday life.

Make sure that you get this on a regular basis. Your mind and body can't keep going on forever without being recharged. Don't feel guilty for it either. Don't let other people make you feel guilty. If they do, then they don't really care about you and your state of being.

Relax. Have fun. Give yourself permission to be you!
